Our Lady of the Oaks Retreat is owned and operated by the California Province of the Society of Jesus. This 280+ acre Jesuit retreat camp operates year-round and provides a tranquil setting to hold meetings, schedule weekend retreats, hold training sessions, and experience the quietude of the oak woodland.
RC|A teamed with Siegel & Strain Architects to design a phased master plan for the renovation of existing facilities and the construction of a new lodge and surrounding landscape. Phase 1 included the design and installation of a residential building, Oak Lodge, and adjacent site development. Phase I also included the construction of a new plaza linking the existing Dining Hall and Parish, the reorganization of circulation and parking, and the installation of accessibility routes to existing and new structures. The upgrades are designed to provide maximum flexibility for use of the site by multiple groups at the same time, while taking advantage of outdoor spaces for living and learning.
